Plant operators are constantly seeking greater operational efficiencies and profitability. P2S' fabrication services play an important role in achieving success.

P2S has more than 50 years experience providing shop and field specialty fabrication services. We are an industry leader in retro-fitting, upgrading and installing furnaces and waste heat recovery systems. We have completed thousands of furnace retro-fits and installations and have adhered to the highest quality, safety and cost-effective standards throughout each project’s execution. Our primary strengths are the experience and skills of our craft personnel, the quality of our work, our ability to respond rapidly to client emergencies, and the flexibility to accommodate project changes.

Fabrication Shop

Our 60,000 square foot shop is located in Sand Springs, Oklahoma and is certified to perform ASME Code work to Section I, VIII, and B31.1 and repairs per NBIC. 

Along with our fabrication services, we provide in-house preparation of shop detail drawings. Our QA/QC capabilities include radiography, ultrasonic inspection, mag particle/dye penetrant inspection, pressure testing (water/air), and quality control documentation supervised by our Level II and Level III Inspectors.

Typically Fabricated Items

Fired Heater Pressure Components: P2S routinely fabricates a broad range of components for all types of furnaces such as: radiant coils, convection coils, inlet/outlet manifolds, pigtail assemblies, crossover piping, and transfer lines.

Specialty Components: We fabricate specially designed components for engineering firms and clients in power, refining, and petrochemical industries, specifically:

Structural Components: Typical pre-fabricated items include radiant and convection sidewalls, burner plenums, breeches, stacks, air preheater ducts, platforms and structural attachments. Many components are insulated with refractory or ceramic fibers and coated with specialized paints and primers.

Pipe Spools:  Sizes range from ½” to 72” diameter, fabricated to any configuration and length. Material grades and qualified welding procedures include carbon steels, chrome, stainless alloys, and exotics such as Incoloys, Hasteloys, Titanium, Duplex Stainless, etc.
